"We’re trained Marxists".
--BLM co-founder Patisse Cullors, on her embrace of the ideals that lead to communism.
During a 2015 interview, one of the Black Lives Matters co-founders, Patisse Cullors, reassured some critics that her group does in-fact maintain a rigid set of principles. Most strikingly, she stated that she was a "trained Marxists", a fact that may be lost on many of those who have recently protested in the wake of George Floyd's death.
