Legendary rock guitarist Eddie Van Halen has passed away. The 65-year old died following a long battle with throat cancer.
His son, Wolfgang, confirmed the news via Twitter.
According to TMZ, Van Halen passed away in Santa Monica at St. John's Hospital, his brother Alex, son Wolfgang and wife Janie by his bedside.
