Who Can Lead...And Who Can't. Lanhee Chen Talks to A&G

"Crisis forces us to test our leaders...to see who can lead....and who can't".

--Lanhee Chen on the failings of California Governor Gavin Newsom.

In New York and California, two former darlings of the right are fighting for their political lives. Meanwhile, in Florida, a conservative governor who spent the past year being attacked for the way he lead his state is earning more and more respect as his state emerges from the pandemic.

The leadership skills and political futures of Andrew Cuomo, Gavin Newsom and Ron DeSantis are the focus of this week's visit from The Hoover Institution's Lanhee Chen , who joins A&G every Friday to talk about politics and culture in our country.

Regarding Newsom, Lanhee tells Jack & Joe, "I don't think Gavin Newsom was ready to be on the stage for a fourth-grade class play, let alone to be on the stage to be a presidential candidate"
