Long-time Friend of Armstrong & Getty, "Tim the Lawyer" Sandefur joined Jack & Joe to talk about a pair of legal cases involving civil asset forfeiture--something a lot of people don't even understand exists.
"I don't blame them" Tim explained, "because it's so contrary to the basic principles of American liberty--it really stuns people to learn what goes on. This is a legal principle that says that the government can take away your property on the theory that the property was involved in a crime--and then just keep it without filing of charges against you".
